The Protectors Season 2 Episode 21: Trial

The Protectors_Trial Title Shot

A young man is on trial for the death of a policeman. The judge presiding over the trial begins his verdict but suddenly falls ill. The father of one of the men on trial, named Arthur Gordon, is missing and has not been taking this trial very well, in fact attempted to handle the judge roughly. Harry is fully aware of the mental state of Arthur and is worried about what he is capable of doing. His torture mind isn’t able to deal with his son on trial and must do something about it but what is he capable of.

Personal Synopsis

A fascinating episode of a fathers love combined with an unstable mind. A parent would want to save their child from trouble but to what extent are we allowed to go. To wilfully obstruct justice is not going to help the matter. I feel this episode is a powerful one about the depressing and unimaginable experience of watching a son or daughter be on trial.

The Protectors Season 1 Episode 14: For the Rest of Your Natural…

For The Rest Of Your Natural Title Shot

Harry has taken a trip and Contessa is housesitting for Harry. This would be fine except for the house being broken into by a crazed man and Contessa being kidnapped. She wakes up bound and gagged in a very strange place.  She is held for trial and criminal proceedings are taking place by a crazed man she once gave evidence against.  He had just escaped and was seeking to act out his revenge against Contessa but not without a trial by judge and jury. While Contessa endures this trial Harry and Paul will need to stop the charade before something horrible happens to Contessa.

Personal Synopsis

This episode is one of the best in the series. Norman Rodway plays the crazed escaped prisoner with a score to settle. He takes this role to the peak by playing a psychotic killer bent on taking out the Contessa for testifying against him in his trial. This episode is primarily a show for Norman and Nyree.
