Friar Tuck and Robin Hood are on a mission to retrieve a box of gold from the scottish King William. On his way, Robin encounters an old friend Duncan of Stoneykirk who is leading his own band of outlaws. Once reached, King Williams is not as eager to offer the box of gold to Kind Richard as he once was. Robin is now faced with saving the gold from those whom wish to take it whoever that may be.
Personal Synopsis
Hugh McDermott comes back as Duncan of Stoneykirk in this episode, bringing back memories of Duncan’s visit to the Sherwood Forest 2 years before. Scotland is not so often brought up in the storyline of Robin Hood yet it was not so far away to believe that it didn’t play a stronger role in Englands struggles. It goes without saying that Robin Hood again must take the torch for King Richard, bringing back the goods offered to the Lionheart by the King of Scotland only to be destined for an adventure.
