Duke DeMoreville has his eyes on Nottingham and the sheriffs job. His reputation of torture and murdering villagers in his shire has reach the ears of those in Nottingham. Robin Hood and the outlaws see the danger in Duke DeMoreville taking power. The Sheriff and the outlaws uncharacteristically work together to stop the Duke from enacting his deadly authority upon those in Nottingham.
Personal Synopsis
The Black Five is a rare episode when both the sheriff and the outlaws actually need to work together. The risk is just too great for both parties when the Duke comes to town. Robin saves the life of the sheriff, uses pigeons for his clever tricks and ensures himself extra riches that can go to support the villagers of Nottingham.
