Robin and Marian are witness to a poacher being arrested on Sir Cedric’s land trying to supply food for his family. The punishment for poaching is steep and so Marian beseeches Sir Cedric for mercy. When this attempt fails, Robin meets Sir Cedric on terms that Sir Cedric could understand. Fish.
Personal Synopsis
One mans eel is another mans carp. Sir Cedric is an “expert” fisherman with one wish, to catch fish in his own lake. When the serf Henry was caught on Sir Cedric land, his fate was to determined by the Sheriff of Nottingham. Robin must convince Sir Cedric to remove the charges or Henry will suffer a fate greater than hunger. Luckily Sir Cedrics wish for revenge was not greater than his desire to put a trophy on his wall.
