The heir of the throne young Prince Arthur is bored being stuck in the castle but cannot leave while Prince Johns court are keeping an eye on him. He is soon forced to join Prince John for a trip to Nottingham to hunt. The Dutchess Constance is worried and recruits Robin and the outlaws to keep an eye on Prince John’s sudden signs of friendliness.
Personal Synopsis
As is expected by Prince John, his motives are always to be question especially with one who could step in the way of his power grab. These power games are not such a far cry from the realities of this time period and the weak were likely to suffer or worse die. This episode ends with a tease of the next upcoming episode as we follow Duchess Constance and Prince Arthur to Brittany. Donald Pleasance is still a masterfully played Prince John indeed.
