Master Henry, the Mayor of the Mint, has been on the radar of the sheriffs men for some time as a friend of Robin Hood. So when the soldiers nearly captured robin hood in henry’s home, he must leave with the outlaws away into the forest. Henry’s has become aware that the minted coins around Nottingham are being tampered with. With the outlaws, he will investigate and defend the real coins in the courts.
Personal Synopsis
Why steal money when you can make money? Im sure this has been asked before. But it is a good question. The mayor of the mint notices a difference in the coins recently came across. Perhaps the sheriff would know something about this. Another Carry On regular Sidney James, makes an appearance in this episode. The story here gives a historical sense of a time when currency was only minted coins, also pointing out ways this currency system could be exploited. A decent ride through another adventure of robin hood.
