The knight of the Black Patch is in the shire and he is causing trouble. Maid Marion must host Sir Dunstan of Travers but is now close enough to hear about a trap to be set for Robin Hood. It is her mission to send word to the Outlaws before the trap ensnares Robin Hood or even her.

Personal Synopsis
The Black Patch comes to town to capture the prized outlaw Robin Hood. His patch is an icon for his commitment to Prince John until he brings back the menace of nottingham forest. A relatively tame episode of entrapment and near capture. Bernard Bresslaw, known for his work in the Carry on films, shows up in one of his first roles on television.
