An old man is dying but he holds a great secret that some felonious men wish to know. His granddaughter is now aware of this secret but must protect it from those who would take it. She holds stained glass pieces taken down from the cathedral during the war has never been returned to its rightful place. Gene Bradley and Mr. Parminter wage a battle between themselves, the granddaughter and a prospective group of “buyers” for these glass pieces.
Personal Synopsis
Episode 14 in the Adventurers, more than half way through the series and it has become noticeable that Mr Parminter is playing a more prominent role in the Adventurer. The dramas behind the scenes have become evident and luckily for us Barry Morse splendidly plays the role of Mr Parminter albeit unfitting to the tv series main setting and theme. A decent episode that appears to start the upward trend in decent scriptwriting.
