Personal Synopsis

Donald Pleasance !! plays the role of Prince John and masterfully. The Prisoner episode shows the princes fear of the return of the true King of England so much so that he would push for his coronation to take place. Such an amazing performance by Donald Pleasance bringing Prince John into view as a mad coward that wields his power through his military might not by his own force of will. A strong ending to the very first season of The Adventures of Robin Hood.
