An old man walks along the forest paths near Nottingham, he is a wandering healer on his way to an ailing Sir Walter de Lys. The local Nottingham doctors services are rejecting in place of the old man healer Joseph of Cordoba which gets the doctors angry. Now the doctors backed by the Sheriff of Nottingham will not provide services to anyone that is associated with the Outlaws. When an emergency occurs the Robin and the Outlaws must act to get medical attention to an Outlaws child. There is only one option left in order to save this child, the wandering healer Joseph of Cordoba but would he take the risk.
Personal Synopsis
The Wanderer is an episode of a healer with a knowledge of medicine not seen around those parts. Competition is not easy to deal with, so the local doctors conspire against him. There is a scene where Joseph and the other doctors are giving their solutions to Sir Walter, competing for this sick mans patronage. I laughed. The rest of the episode plays out like a standard robin hood episode. Trap is laid, bait is thrown and the fight ensues. Not bad.
