The Adventures of Robin Hood Season 1 Episode 28: Children of the Greenwood

One of the Sheriffs men was murdered and a villager, a single father of two is implicated in the crime. As the villager beseeches Robin Hood, his children are swiftly taken to the castle of FitzUrse. The children are not adapting very well to their new life in the castle and are destined to test Sir Walter’s patience.  When the children’s well being is threatened, desperate measures are taken.

Personal Synopsis

One of the more family oriented episodes of the series, this story follows the plight of two children whose father has been blamed for a murder and is now on the run. Robin Hood is there to help the fugitive and also keep an eye on his children while they are in the custody of the Lord of the area. The children are clever enough to help themselves as they follow their sense of pride as freemen. A touching story of a family split apart only to be tested and strained under the lawmakers power. Luckily this is a Robin Hood tv show.
