On the road through the Sherwood Forest, the Kings commissioner is attacked by fake outlaws. Robin finds a one Sir Gyles as a part of this killing party. Sir Gyles escapes. Maid Marian is taken to task at the Sheriffs residence when both the Kings commissioner and Sir Gyles are in attendance. When the commissioner is found dead all the clues point to Maid Marian’s guilt and she is arrested for murder. To stave off her judgement she claims that her judgement should be from a Trial by Battle and her champion will defend her innocence.

Personal Synopsis

It is a rare episode when Marian is a focal point . Her honor is questioned by the murder charges against her. The antagonist is a powerful knight with a sharp tongue and a hate capable of murder. This story is an example of the old forms of justice that have happened in years before.
