An important visitor is awaiting in a deserted castle for Robin’s arrival. There is an alliance in the works between Prince John and the French that could seriously hurt King Richard the Lion heart. Robin has been instructed by this visitor to thwart their plans and save King Richard. Once the Sheriff catches on to the trick laid out by Robin and his crew, the danger mounts but not until Robin has received important news regarding King Richard….and he has a playing card.
Personal Synopsis
A classic masquerade episode, Robin must stop the alliance between King Phillip of France and Prince John before they hatch there plans against King Richard. The outlaws trick has gotten the intentions of the court of King Phillip to come out in the open and now to handle the Sheriff. One of the better episodes, featuring Jill Esmond as Queen Eleanor.
