The Protectors Season 2 Episode 14: Zeke’s Blues

The Protectors_Zeke's Blues Title Shot

Harry takes the Contessa out on the town to watch Zeke, an old friend from way back, perform.  As the night goes on and as Harry and the Contessa slip into a number of drinks the unease of Zeke’s demeanor is apparent. Mr Kasankas is holding Zeke’s past over his head to get to Harry Rule. Zeke is nearly killed in front of Harry starting the chain of events to show the danger that both Zeke and Harry are in. Zeke is played against saving his name and saving his friend, a difficult decision at best.

Personal Synopsis

An episode that to me shows Harry in a different light, losing some of his cynicism and playing the fool to the game Zeke is playing. It is a standard blackmail story with a twist , using Zeke to find Harry and then manipulating Harry for some information. Shane Rimmer plays Zeke and Director and does a decent job playing his poor soul routine. A decent episode but not close to the best.
