The Protectors Season 1 Episode 16: A Matter of Life and Death

A Matter Of LIfe And Death Title Shot

Beautiful ladies on the beach are a rouse as Harry is tricked. This trick opens up a case of smuggling that involves the north African coast, hippies and an australian or so they think. The contessa is set to expose the game by expressing her own interest in the shipment but things become even more serious when Harry and Paul are shot at. The Protectors, with tricks of their own, must convince the smugglers that Harry and Paul were killed by the assassins bullets, all while trying to find out what is the precious cargo they hold. Harry and the teams persistence brings out all the players in this game and the shipment.

Personal Synopsis

This episode is an interesting twist on a smuggling operation. The blood plasma angle is certainly a first for me but it is plausible that there are a lot of smuggling rings still today for biological items like blood and organs. A decent episode that also came off as cheesy but Patrick Allen is good to watch as the crook James Mallory.
