Harry and the team are hastily forced into work with the KGB. A rogue scientist has stolen a chemical compound that could take out entire cities. Desperation causes the KGB to hire Harry to stop the scientist from allowing the compound to get into the wrong hands or accidentally being released. The scientist, Professor Schelpin, is fed up with society creating weapons to destroy large numbers of people so to show the world its folly he will show the effects of the germ warfare by starting it. The Protectors will need to stop this man from enacting out his rage against the governments of the world.
This episode is about the worlds Balance of Terror by all parties developing the means for large scale destruction in order to compete with other countries. Laurence Naismith plays the fed up scientist in this episode, where his portrayal shows his definite skill in acting. This story grabs at the heart of many of the non violence advocates around the world. A great watch.
