A 12th century Icon has been sold in auction to the Contessa. She has purchased it for a friend whom she knew had had it seductively bribed away from. Contessa gives the icon to her friend and then enacts a plan to get back at the conman that took it from her. Harry and Paul have been brought in on the scheme while Contessa play the bait for the conman. The Protectors plan is to settle the score but also to hurt the conman even more into never wanting to con another woman out of anything. Theres a race to the end and possibly some profit.
Personal Synopsis
Anton Rodgers plays the conman Alan Sutherland, which makes this episode for me and also Ronald Lacey both being stereotype of the “bad guys” in a lot of British Television. This episode is a payback for a con that is elaborate in scale and you love watching it happen. Good story and good episode.
