A bridge near a village plays an important part to the area. A treaty made some time ago allows the village to protect it from anyone from taking control of it. King Marhaus is not interested in keeping the treaty and sets about to scare the villagers into releasing the bridge to him. King Marhaus’s sister, Lady Angela, is there with him and is left unaware of her brothers secret agenda. Sir Lancelot arrives to investigate the strange events surrounding the bridge. King Marhaus is willing to hurt even his sister to get the all too important bridge.
Personal Synopsis
The Bridge is a quite good episode. The fight scene as Sir Lancelot saves Lady Angela is the best by far in this series. It also shows a very true reality of the times, where a bridge was an extremely important asset to any kingdom. I did enjoy this episode and would recommend it as an example of what the series could have been if more were made in this fashion.
