Tales of a sea creature draws Sir Lancelot and Brian out of Camelot to check out these rumours. The sea creature is actually the head of a boat used by some Vikings. Sir Lancelot is overpowered and kidnapped by the men and forced into slavery. Â Lancelot and Brian are abused by the men but the daughter of the slave owner has compassion for Sir Lancelot because of her love for another Englishman. Â Lancelot saves her from an unwanted marriage and wins his freedom all while fighting the notion that one man is a lesser breed than another.
Personal Synopsis
A tale of the slave trade, when people were kidnapped and sold to the highest bidder. This is certainly a fictionalize story of something that did in fact happen. Not all were lucky enough to have a beautiful young woman help them escape. This story is interesting since it puts Sir Lancelot in a submissive role as opposed to his standard gallant demeanor.
