The Adventures of Sir Lancelot Episode 9: Lancelot’s Banishment

Lancelots Banishment Title Shot

Sir Lancelot is suspicious with some weapons being made at the local metalworker. King Arthur and Sir Lancelot are at odds with  King Marhaus making suspicious weapons. After an argument, King Arthur has sent Lancelot away. Lancelot has been taken in by King Marhaus but notices that he is not wanted in the Kings camp. A minstrel sings songs of warning which saves Lancelot’s life. Ultimately, the Kings life is in danger and Lancelot will have to step in order to save him.

Personal Synopsis

The first episode of this series that was written by a woman, Peggy Phillips, whom is more famous for writing some of the early scripts of the US soap opera “Days of our Lives”. This episode shows a bit of emotion from Sir Lancelot and King Arthur as opposed to the rough and tumble boyish adventures. I believe the series would benefit from a more fiery cast and at least with this episode that comes out in the writing, so well done Peggy.
