The Baron Episode 12: The Maze

John nearly runs down a woman running away from armed men. Upon picking her up his vehicle is shot at and the car runs off the road. The only thing John remembers is picking up the girls, running off the road and some random hallucinations. John was found wandering on a road when a passer by picked him up. The police can not find any evidence to corroborate his story and they suspect that John was drunk. Mannering knows that whomever shot at him has also tampered with the evidence to confuse the authorities. The investigation begins and stirs up a bigger issue than the car crash. A plot to assassinate a visiting General is showing its face and Mannering will need to make sense of what is a hallucination or reality.

Personal Synopsis

This episode is great. I love the efforts to bring in all the key elements to this good crime mystery: murder, hallucinations and a golf course. I find this maze episode very much like a standard The Avengers episode. The plot made to confuse the authorities was ingenious and believable. Its a fun watch.
